January 6th we opened our store ready to prepare for another day and expectations of a very busy and exciting year.

Checking the morning e-mails we read an unbelievable note announcing the passing of our Ekornes representative Ron Sterenson. It was unreal, almost wishing it were a cruel joke, but after reading it over and over it was setting in that we had unexpectedly lost one of our most enthusiastic, energetic, optimistic and passionate about encouraging others sales reps we ever had encountered.

His visits were always full of energy to the point that you felt uplifted and ready for a nap after he left. His weekly phone calls checking in on our accomplishments were jokingly answered "is it you Ron, again?" and he would always chuckle and reply, "I like calling you guys and seeing how you are doing. Do I really call a lot?"

He did call and visit and check on us often and shared praises of accomplishments and all of us will truly miss him.

It is strange how things happen, and hopefully we can continue his memory by sharing all of the good he had shared with all of us.

We will miss you Ron, and we will not forget you and how special you were.
